Claude Marx presents his journey and his commitment to the memory of the Shoah in Luxembourg.
Born in Nancy into a Jewish family, Claude Marx took the exodus route with his parents in 1940 and spent part of his childhood in a small town in Berry, France. From the end of 1943, he was hidden by neighbours who saved him from deportation.
He lives in Luxembourg since 1967, where he manages the archives of the Consistoire israélite and participates in the work of the Commission for the Spoliation of Jewish Property in Luxembourg. President of the Consistoire israélite de Luxembourg from 2015 to 2017, he was also vice-president of the Memoshoah Association.
