Reopening of the new permanent exhibition

Come and discover the museum as you've never seen it before, with its tripled surface area and completely reworked museography.

Mini-tours, snacks and a musical performance by André Mergenthaler are on the programme.

With its thematic tour from the German invasion to the liberation, the permanent exhibition retraces the German occupation of Luxembourg during the Second World War. It covers, among other things, daily life in a totalitarian state, the many complex reactions of the population, ranging from collaboration to resistance, Nazi persecution, the concentration camps, the Shoah and the post-war period. A new "Human Rights" section, dealing with topical issues, has been added to the exhibition.

On Saturday 2 March and Sunday 3 March, come and take advantage of our open days from 10am to 6pm.

Open Doors 02.03.24 Open Doors 03.03.24

Admission is free.

After the reopening, the museum will resume its usual activities and you can once again take advantage of all our offers, whether to visit the museum and the temporary exhibition, to join one of our guided tours through Esch or to take part in one of our events.
