Following the reopening of the museum on 1 March 2024, the new trilingual (French, German and English) museum catalogue entitled "Luxemb(o)urg 1940-45 - Exhibition Catalogue" is now available.
The 136-page book presents photos, documents and objects from the permanent exhibition, while giving an overview of Luxembourg's history during the Second World War. It also deals with the inter-war period and the difficult period of reconstruction, the return of thousands of deportees and prisoners of war, remembrance, and so on.
Like the permanent exhibition, the final part of the catalogue is devoted to human rights, starting with the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights and building a bridge to current issues.
