The National Museum of Resistance and Human Rights (MNRDH), founded in 1956, is a living, participatory institution located in Esch/Alzette, in the south of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The MNRDH is the only museum in Luxembourg to cover the country's entire history of the Second World War. From March 2024, the museum has a new permanent exhibition with a new museography concept. A new department on Human Rights creates a link with current events.

Relive the temporary exhibition ‘’ VICTIMES OUBLIÉES ‘’ in 3D
Exhibition at the Museum from 14 March to 22 December 2024
Who are the ‘forgotten victims’?
They are people who, long before the German occupation and sometimes still today, are socially marginalised. People who are poor, homeless or dependent on social assistance, but also people with a different lifestyle, a different culture, or who belong to a religious minority. People with dark skin or whose sexual orientation or identity does not correspond to the moral values of the majority of society. Not to mention people with physical or mental disabilities.
The ‘Forgotten Victims’ exhibition tells their stories.
