The National Museum of Resistance and Human Rights (MNRDH) is entirely dedicated to the history of the Second World War in Luxembourg and to human rights. Its permanent exhibition addresses a variety of complex themes related to this troubled period. The museum offers a comprehensive cultural and educational programme and regularly organises temporary exhibitions, guided tours, conferences, round tables and workshops.
- The volunteer/intern will be introduced to work in the museum, historical and educational fields.
- The volunteer/intern will participate in the design of temporary exhibitions.
- The volunteer/intern will participate in research and writing.
- The volunteer/intern may be trained to become a museum guide.
- The volunteer/intern will participate in the inventory and conservation of the museum's collection.
- The volunteer/intern will learn to work independently and creatively while integrating into the museum team.

VOLUNTEER WORK
The museum accepts volunteers for a period of 3 to 18 months as part of a volunteer service programme administered by the Service national de la Jeunesse (SNJ).
To become a volunteer, you must meet the following requirements:
- Have completed compulsory schooling
- Be under 30 years of age at the start of the volunteer service
- Speak at least one of the country's three official languages: Luxembourgish, French or German
- Be a legal resident of Luxembourg
- Be registered as a volunteer with the Service national de la jeunesse (SNJ)
Only complete applications containing a letter of motivation, a CV and your final school certificate will be considered.

INTERNSHIPS
The MNRDH offers internships for university students (studying history, tourism, museology, cultural management, communication, ...) and secondary school students.
To become an intern, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in a school or university in Luxembourg
- Or be enrolled in a university abroad
Only complete applications, including a cover letter, CV and school or university certificate, will be considered.
